Hello there friend
I’m George Damanis and I am a world-famous event speaker concierge photographer. I work with some of the biggest speakers and some incredible brands in business and marketing.
My approach to capturing conference speakers and providing them with creative content stems from photographing families; as they are here and now. My approach remains the same for families and speakers. I facilitate a comfortable atmosphere so your true personalities emerge.
My sessions are fun, relaxing, and can even be adventurous! Photo sessions, here in New York, take place in some of the most picturesque spots in Long Island, New York City, or the surrounding areas.
Conference content sessions are a fun way to explore the conference city and challenge our creativity.
Thanks for your interest!
I WOULD LOVE for YOU to LOOK AT MY WORK

Here are a few interesting facts about me that you may enjoy:
I am proud to be a veteran. I spent 15 years in the U.S. Coast Guard.
My logo, the cross-anchors, is actually an homage to my rating (job specialty). I am a former Boatswains Mate.
I was a NY EMT and helped evacuate lower Manhattan following the terrorist attacks on 9/11/01.
My wife and I have two amazing little boys named Chris and William.
While in my early 20s, I performed improv-comedy at the New York Comedy Club every Saturday.
My photos have been featured by TimeOut New York, Travel NYC, The Book of Kells’ official Instagram account, Agorapulse, Social Media Examiner, and in the book “Instagram for Dummies.”
Hi! I’m George.
There is seldom a moment when I am without my camera. It has become so attached to me that it is essentially an extension of my arm. I’m always looking for the beauty in life and I believe imperfection is perfect. Every flaw, every scar, every little thing that makes you who you are is beautiful.
I began my photography career, not as a photographer, but as a digital marketer. Content creation was a pillar of what I offered my clients and photography was a large part of that. I learned that I got more joy out of the photography than I did with any other aspect of my job. I built a series of relationships with some of the biggest names in marketing and they began to hire me to photograph them speaking on stages at conferences around the world. That’s how I became known as a photographer.
I love to capture love. You can actually see love in photos. People don’t think of love as something visible, but when you’re able to capture an image of a family being themselves, the love is in plain sight.
i DON’T LIKE THE TYPICAL PHOTOGRAPHER BUSINESS MODEL
First and foremost, I’m a husband and a father. Much like any family, my family and I pay for photography as well. The thing I have always hated about how photography studios operate is the “here are 30 amazing pictures of your family… now, pick 10” business model. There are a few reasons why I feel so strongly against it. First, it stresses my wife and I out to have to choose photos and lose others just because they’re similar. Second, it angers us when we get the addendum that follows the “pick your 10 favorite” instruction; “if you want to pick more than 10, you may buy them at an additional rate.” They literally hold our family photos hostage. Third, from a business standpoint, it costs the studio money to do that; someone has to go through the photography session photos to pick out the 30 best. That takes time. Then someone has to edit those photos, which also takes time. That time is paid for by the studio. Now, if a family doesn’t want to pay the ransom for the additional photos, what happens to those files? What’s the studio going to do with those files? Delete them? That’s a waste of time and as such, a waste of money!
I work hard to deliver photos that will mean something to you. I don’t want you to have to pick your favorite. I don’t want you to feel like your photos are being held hostage. I don’t want my hard work to be wasted.
i deliver an experience
I’ve been there. I know how it feels to get dressed in uncomfortable clothes, posed stiffly in a hot studio, and awkwardly smiling a fake grin (which is completely obvious in the photo). Happy and relaxed people make better images. It’s science! It’s never my goal to pose you awkwardly and deliver an image of you that is “fake.” I want to capture who you are, when I’m with you. I want you to be you, as you are, because you are amazing!
relaxed and fun sessions that mean something to you
One of the greatest compliments I’ve received is how much fun was had during a session or how relaxed someone felt, even if they don’t normally feel comfortable in front of a camera. Those are typical responses told to me before I’ve even delivered any photos. That’s what drives my passion.
